In addition to our existing & future safety features, we have created this Safe Dating Guideline for you to read at your convenience.
♥ Protect Your Personal Information
Avoid sharing sensitive details like your home address, workplace, or financial information with someone you’ve just met.
♥ Use In-App Communication
Keep your conversations within the app until you feel comfortable. We have made it possible to stay on Deep for as long as you need to both before, during and after meeting your match in person. Scammers often try to move conversations to other platforms quickly too.
♥ Be Cautious of Red Flags
Watch out for users who pressure you for personal details, make inconsistent claims, or seem too good to be true. If something feels off, trust your instincts.
♥ Report Suspicious Behavior
If someone is acting suspiciously or making you uncomfortable, report them through the app. Your safety is our priority.
♥ Choose a Public Place
For your first few dates, meet in a well-lit, public location like a café, restaurant, or park with other people around.
♥ Tell Someone You Trust
Let a friend or family member know your plans, including where you’re going, who you’re meeting, and when you expect to return.
♥ Arrange Your Own Transportation
Avoid getting picked up or dropped off at your home. Use your own transport or a trusted ride service.
♥ Stay Sober & Aware
Be mindful of what you eat and drink. Keep an eye on your drink at all times, and if you feel unwell, seek help immediately.
♥ Trust Your Instincts
If something doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to leave. Your safety always comes first.
♥ Take Your Time
There’s no rush to move too fast in a new relationship. Get to know the person at your own pace.
♥ Watch for Controlling Behavior
Healthy relationships are based on mutual respect. If someone tries to isolate you, control your actions, or pressure you into things you’re uncomfortable with, take a step back.
♥ Seek Support If Needed
If you ever feel unsafe or experience harassment, don’t hesitate to seek help from trusted friends, family, or local support services.
If you ever feel unsafe, report any concerns to Deep’s support team. If you need immediate assistance, contact local authorities or a helpline in your area.
Stay safe & happy dating! ♥
We have collected a range of contacts for some of our current key customer base. If you would like us to include a helpline there’s not currently on the list, feel free to let us know via the feedback option in the app.
