Meet Penny & Blue, who, along with the rest of their colony, help bring the app to life. Deep is an app developed and managed by Du Jour, founded in 2024 by Rikke Simone (CEO) and Alain Doutre (CTO).

Penguins mate for life, and we think you deserve that kind of connection too. That’s why we chose the adorable, endangered little blue penguins—also known as Fairy Penguins or Kororā—as our mascots. Plus, with our HQ in New Zealand, where they love to live, it just makes sense.
